The text of the Standard General Dental Services Variation Notice November 2012 and the Personal Dental Services Agreements Variation Notice November 2012 have been prepared by the Department of Health’s Solicitors. Both are prepared on the basis that the numbering adopted in the signed contract or agreement follows that used in the Standard General Dental Services Contract and Personal Dental Services Agreement templates dated 2009.
Unofficial consolidated versions of the standard General Dental Services contract and Personal Dental Services agreement templates, which incorporate the changes made by these variation notices, are available to assist Primary Care Trusts.
Primary Care Trusts may wish to review their existing contracts and agreements and use the templates to update contracts and agreements to reflect changes made to relevant regulations with effect from 1 November 2012.
